Permissions the app requests

On Android, GetCast requests network access (to find and connect to TVs) and, on the sending device, screen‑capture permission (to mirror your screen) — this permission is requested each time you start a mirroring session and can be revoked at any time by stopping the cast.

Data retention

Local network and device information is used only for the duration of an active mirroring session and is not retained afterward. Crash reports, if any, are retained only as long as needed to diagnose and fix the underlying issue.

Your rights
